The property covers over 27,000 acres, is just outside Orlando, Florida USA and not far from Orlando's International airport. Originally the land was mostly swamp land that Disney bought up through a group of dummy corporations to keep the price of the land low. After buying up the land Disney was even allowed it's own effective incorporated city called Reedy Creek Development district.
